NOTE:

My dogs have an AKC registered surname of ‘vom Tanhäuser’ with a single ‘n’. You will see that on their AKC paperwork when we register your puppy.

This is not an error. Unfortunately, after I named my kennel I found that the name Tannhäuser had already been purchased by a different party thru the AKC. The most straightforward solution was to take the name but spell it just slightly differently.
